Getting Started with Telhawk Galen
AI-Powered Security Testing for Vibe Coders
Welcome to Galen!
You don't need to be a cybersecurity expert to get started. If you're building applications with an AI coding assistant, you can ask your AI to help set up and run Galen.
Step 1 — Download Galen
Download the Galen ZIP file using the Google Drive link provided through the Telhawk beta program.
Save the ZIP file somewhere your AI coding assistant can access.
Step 2 — Tell Your AI to Use Galen
Open your AI coding assistant in the project you want to analyze.
Copy and paste this prompt:
I downloaded a security analysis tool called Telhawk Galen.
The ZIP file is located at [FILE LOCATION].
Please inspect the ZIP file, read its documentation, and determine how to install and run Galen.
Follow the setup instructions and use Galen to perform a security analysis of my current project.
Do not modify my application code.
Ask for my approval before installing additional software, downloading external dependencies, or making changes outside my project.
When finished, summarize the vulnerabilities Galen identified, their severity, and recommended fixes.
Clearly distinguish findings produced by Galen from any additional analysis you perform independently.
Step 3 — Review Your Security Results
Once Galen finishes its analysis, ask your AI:
Explain the security vulnerabilities Galen found in plain English.
Which issues should I fix first?
How can I fix them without breaking my application?
Your AI can help explain the results and suggest next steps.
That's it! Download Galen, tell your AI to use it, and review your security results.
