SOLUTIONS / SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS

Stay in the flow.
Keep your rules in the code.

Galen Policy checks for security flaws and policy drift while you build. Keep your preferred coding agent, get evidence about the affected path, and make the correction while the change is still fresh.

Available now: Galen Policy Beta and Managed Galen Security Audits. Self-service Galen Security is coming soon.

Deterministic analysis. Inspectable evidence. Your team’s decisions.

INTENDED BOUNDARY

Public profiles include a name and ID, but exclude email and phone.

The issue to investigate

The revised serializer adds email and phone to the public response.

The response widens field exposure beyond the approved access baseline.

Conceptual example, not live Galen output. Recheck the actual implementation after a correction.

WHAT IS AT STAKE

Working code can still break a rule you meant to keep.

A feature can compile, pass its usual tests, and quietly widen access. A refactor removes an ownership check. A generated serializer returns a private field. A helper that once required an administrator now only requires a signed-in user. The feature works; the security boundary has changed.

Re-explaining the whole application to a coding agent on every change is difficult, and a vague warning sends you back into the code to work out what it means. Galen Policy turns supported findings and departures from approved access rules into focused evidence you can use in the same development loop.

Focus
Understand the affected path without rebuilding the whole investigation.
Continuity
Preserve approved access behavior through refactors.
Choice
Work with an agent that can use your terminal.

CHECK WHILE YOU BUILD

A terminal check with a useful next step.

Run Galen Policy in the repository after you or your coding agent changes the code. It is a standalone command-line tool, so the analysis is independent of the model that wrote the change. Use the findings to give your agent a concrete correction task, then check the updated implementation.

You can begin without a written policy. Galen recovers current access behavior for you to review, correct, and approve. Later checks compare changes against that baseline. When broader access is intentional, make it an explicit policy decision rather than letting the implementation silently redefine the rule.

GO DEEPER WITH AN AUDIT

Keep the deeper audit connected to your code.

When a change spans authentication, APIs, or a larger release, Galen Security supports a deeper application audit. Findings carry context about the relevant paths and controls, so the handoff stays close to the implementation you need to correct.

Use the evidence alongside functional tests and code review. Galen helps catch supported security weaknesses and access drift; ordinary tests still establish the feature’s expected behavior. Together, those checks give you a clearer reason to trust the change.

A PRACTICAL STARTING POINT

Change. Check. Correct. Keep building.

  1. 01

    Make the change.

Use your editor and coding agent as usual.

  2. 02

    Run Policy.

Review the finding and give the agent the evidence needed for a focused fix.

  3. 03

    Check the revision.

Review the new result, run your ordinary tests, and approve intentional policy changes.

BUILD WITH BETTER EVIDENCE
